Back to FieldOps · Privacy policy

Elevon Aerial Ag (“Elevon”, “we”) operates FieldOps, the planning and records app for aerial application. These terms cover FieldOps on this site, including the fieldops-dev lab. By creating an account, signing in (including with Google or Microsoft), or using FieldOps for an organization, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.

The service

FieldOps helps an aerial application business keep fields, jobs, routes, itineraries, flight tracks, application records, invoices, aircraft, and crew in one place. A workspace belongs to one organization. People in that organization see the records their role allows.

FieldOps is planning and record-keeping software. The operator, the pilot, and the business decide whether a flight and an application are legal and safe. FieldOps does not fly the aircraft, mix or release product, issue an airspace authorization, or replace a pesticide label or an applicator license.

Who may use it

FieldOps is for businesses. You must be at least 18 to create an account. If you use FieldOps for a company, you confirm that you may bind that company to these terms and may put its fields, customers, crew, and application records into the service.

Accounts and workspaces

A verified work email joins that company’s workspace at sign-in, or opens one when that domain is new. A personal account, such as Gmail, signs in and then looks up the business or uses an invite. An organization admin controls members, roles, and invites. An elevonaerialag.com address does not join the Elevon manufacturer workspace on its own. An Elevon admin adds those people.

You are responsible for the logins, passwords, passkeys, and API keys on your account. A developer key acts as the organization that created it. Keep it as carefully as a password. Tell us if you believe an account or key is being misused.

Your records

The organization owns the operational records its people put into FieldOps: field boundaries, jobs, tracks, application records, prescriptions, invoices, aircraft, and crew assignments. You grant Elevon permission to host, copy, and display those records so we can run FieldOps, including the copy this browser keeps for offline use.

You confirm that you have the right to upload that material, including a customer’s field and a prescription map. Invoices you create in FieldOps are your documents with your customer. Elevon is not a party to those invoices and does not collect those payments. You can download reports and invoices from FieldOps while the organization still has access.

Planning, labels, and flight

Routes, spray windows, coverage, airspace drawings, and weather layers are planning aids. They can be incomplete or out of date. They are not a clearance to fly, a LAANC approval, or a finding that a mission is safe. Check the aircraft, the label, the weather, and the airspace before you launch. A connected ground station may draw or fly a route differently from the picture in FieldOps. Verify the load on the aircraft before the flight.

The chemical index lists EPA-registered products commonly labeled for aerial application in the United States. It is not a recommendation, not a copy of any label, and not legal advice. Aerial directions, buffers, droplet size, and use sites change. Read the current EPA-accepted label before mixing or applying. FieldOps stores a last-checked stamp and a label link. It does not host label PDFs.

Connected accounts

Google sign-in and the optional Google Calendar connection are described in the privacy policy. Elevon’s use of information from Google APIs follows that policy, including the Google API Services User Data Policy Limited Use requirements. Disconnecting Google Calendar in FieldOps deletes the tokens we stored for it. If you connect a farm-management system or another vendor, FieldOps sends only what you choose to send.

Acceptable use

The lab and availability

fieldops-dev is a lab. It can change or be reset, and it is separate from the production service at fieldops.elevonaerialag.com. FieldOps on this site does not sell a subscription inside the app. If Elevon bills you under a separate written agreement, that agreement sets the price.

We may change, suspend, or stop FieldOps. Offline copies in a browser can lag the server. Map, weather, and aviation data come from other providers and can be wrong. We do not promise that the service will be up, or that a route, a record, or a sync will be error-free.

Our software

Elevon owns FieldOps, including its design, code, and brand. These terms give you a right to use the app for your organization’s work while these terms are in effect. You keep ownership of the records you put in.

No warranty

FieldOps is provided as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, Elevon disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular application, and non-infringement, and any warranty that a plan, route, chemical entry, map, or weather layer is accurate or sufficient for a flight or an application.

Liability

Crop results, drift, aircraft operation, and the decision to apply a product stay with the operator and the business. To the fullest extent the law allows, Elevon is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost crops, lost jobs, or aircraft damage, arising from use of FieldOps.

Elevon’s total liability for a claim about the software is limited to the amount you paid Elevon for FieldOps in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars if you paid nothing. Some places do not allow some of these limits. Where that is so, the limits apply as far as the law allows.

Claims from your operation

You will cover Elevon against claims, damages, and reasonable legal costs that come from your application work, the records you upload, a flight you conduct, or a break of these terms. This includes a claim by your customer, a landowner, or a crew member about a job planned or recorded in FieldOps.

Ending use

You may stop using FieldOps at any time. You may ask us to delete your FieldOps login and the Google data tied to it, as the privacy policy describes. Records the organization owns stay with that organization unless an admin of that organization asks us to remove them. We may suspend or close access that breaks these terms or that puts the service or another tenant at risk.

Changes

If these terms change, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of FieldOps after that date means you accept the updated terms.

Law

Illinois law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in St. Clair County, Illinois are the venue for a dispute about them, except where a law requires a different forum.
